Reality TV actress Khloe Kardashian made news when she revealed that she was expecting her second child, this time through surrogacy, with ex-husband and current Chicago Bulls player Tristan Thompson. In reaction to his ex-second wife’s child, Lamar Odom, a former Los Angeles Laker, who was one of Kardashian’s ex-spouses, has now stepped forward.

The 42-year-old former Sixth Man of the Year stated, “She could have shouted at me for that,” according to PageSix. Before retiring in 2014 after 14 seasons in the NBA, Odom won two championships in the 2000s while playing for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

Before allegations of substance misuse and adultery began to surface, Odom and Kardashian had been married since 2009 and had been living together for four years. Kardashian requested a divorce in December 2013 after Odom was detained for driving under the influence. Odom was discovered comatose in a Nevada brothel two years after the divorce papers had still not been finalized and had taken a close to lethal overdose.

Following Kardashian’s breakup with Odom, Thompson and Kardashian began dating. In 2018, Thompson and Kardashian gave birth to a baby named True Thompson. Thompson had previously shared a championship with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. Thompson has a long history of infidelity, so the couple has been on and off again ever since. Despite their distance, the couple decided to use surrogacy to conceive a second child together.

Following his split with the Cavaliers in 2020, Thompson has been moving around the league lately. Before being transferred to the Indiana Pacers, he had brief spells with Boston and Sacramento. At the conclusion of the 2022 season, he was moved to the Bulls, where he inked a $1 million one-year contract.
