Jack Dorsey Can’t Get Enough of Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale,” Describing the Rapper as “A Poet & A Teacher”

Former Twitter CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey praised K-recent Dot’s successful album, calling it a “opera.”
We live in an era where music is disseminated not just more freely, but also in greater volume. Hundreds of thousands of songs or albums are posted to platforms and streaming services every day, and many people have complained that projects no longer have a shelf life. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers by Kendrick Lamar continues to ignite debates long after its release, despite a mammoth launch that seems to have taken up every headline.

Lamar is an enigmatic character in the music industry, since he keeps his personal life very secret, but via his songs, he gives the world an incredibly intimate look into his world. Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, couldn’t get enough of Lamar’s new album and turned to his mega-platform to express his feelings.

“This is an opera,” Dorsey wrote. “Kendrick Lamar (@kendricklamar) is a poet and a teacher. Every time I listen, I learn something new…and I can’t stop listening. continual whirling”

While Dorsey maintains his streaming stats, fans continue to choose Lamar and Taylour Paige’s “We Cry Together.” Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ explosive back-and-forth single about a couple that should definitely call it quits has been one of the most talked-about tracks, and we previously reported that the song’s short film will be screening exclusively in Lamar’s hometown of Los Angeles.
