The NBA Finals Could Be Predicted By Kendrick Lamar's Album Releases

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick Lamar’s latest album, was just released. This album is now topping the charts, and fans can’t stop themselves from delving into all of the lyrics. It’s been five years since Kendrick’s last album, DAMN, was released, so this is a major step forward for him. Lamar is a musician who never fails to excite hip-hop fans, and he has proven himself to be one of the best artists of all time with his current endeavor.

ESPN recently discovered a link between Kendrick’s albums and the NBA championship results. As you can see in the meme below, there is a huge coincidence that will surely pique the interest of all Golden State Warriors fans.

The Warriors won the championship the same year Kendrick released To Pimp A Butterfly. This was a trend that began in 2017 with Lamar’s release of DAMN, and it continued in 2018 with the release of the Black Panther soundtrack. Simply simply, everytime Kendrick drops, the Warriors appear to be on their way to a championship. With the Warriors returning to the NBA Finals in a year in which Kendrick Lamar has released an album, it appears that Steph Curry will win his fourth championship.

Of course, Kendrick has no influence on the NBA championship, but it’s still entertaining to speculate on such coincidences. In the comments section below, let us know if you think the run will continue.
